Rehearsals are underway for this year’s annual summer concert at Holy Trinity, Privett, on Saturday 16th June at 7.30pm. The programme includes Dvorak’s Mass in D, described as ‘pure Dvorak… one of the most eloquent testimonies of his relationship to humankind, to God and to Nature’. Tickets £12 (free for under 14s).

A great day was had by all involved in our Come and Sing on Saturday. Choir regulars were joined by 17 new singers and we very much hope we’ve persuaded at least some to join us on a more regular basis. The concert in the evening was appreciated by the audience too. Kate Allen was one of many who commented on a ‘fabulous evening… I love watching and listening to Froxfield Choir perform. The Lord’s Prayer from African Sanctus by David Fanshawe has to be my favourite. I’m looking forward to the Summer Concert on 16th June.’
